PERSE: The government and the World Bank agree on additional funding for a three-year extension of the project.

The DRC government, through the Ministry of National Education and New Citizenship (EDU-NC), signed with the World Bank a memorandum of understanding of negotiations for additional financing for the Equity and Strengthening of the Education System Project (PERSE), this Friday, May 22, 2026.
