ENAFEP 2026: More than 2.3 million students, including 48% girls, take the exams across the entire national territory.

This year more than 2,353,123 candidates, including 48% girls, distributed in examination centers throughout the national territory are taking these tests. In her speech for the occasion, the Minister of State urged the finalist students to approach these exams with serenity, concentration and integrity. She invited them to trust the knowledge acquired throughout their school career, recalling that “true success is built through effort, seriousness and merit”.

PERSE: The government and the World Bank agree on additional funding for a three-year extension of the project.

The DRC government, through the Ministry of National Education and New Citizenship (EDU-NC), signed with the World Bank a memorandum of understanding of negotiations for additional financing for the Equity and Strengthening of the Education System Project (PERSE), this Friday, May 22, 2026. Thus, the project, which was supposed to end on June 30, 2026, will cover a new period of three years, with a deadline set for October 29, 2029.
